Houston Baptist College was created by the Baptist General Convention of Texas on November 15, 1960 at Houston, Texas. The institution has an enrollment of approximately 2,300 students including graduate and undergraduate students. The university offers 9 master's degree programs (from Christian Counseling and Accountancy to Education and Liberal Arts). Bachelors degree programs are offered in several fields that includes, Nursing, Science, Arts, Economics and Christianity; in addition to several pre-professional programs.
